• Identify and qualify the list of Japanese prospects,  establish contact with and build effective and profitable relationships with both existing and potential clients
• Produce an annual sales plan to grow existing businesses to achieve/exceed sales targets as well as develop new business by service lines.
• Work with the India Team to develop Manpower Solutions (e-solutions, cost saving initiatives etc)  to meet the needs’ of the clients
• Assist the business in the preparation and submission of tenders, bids, proposals and presentation as well as review and negotiating contracts
• Attend and generate sales leads from attending trade shows or organising events to target prospects and existing clients
• Liaise with various Japanese Chamber of Commerce, industry associations, government bodies and others to identify new business opportunities
• Formulate sales strategies, plan and budgets to develop existing accounts and new business
• Develop account management plans and co-ordinate strategies for major accounts, within the context of the overall company objectives
• Recommend standards and set targets as per the overall strategy
• Work with Operations to analyse and resolve clients’ complaints and making problem-solving calls to clients
• Work with the Team Managers to ensure the implementation of new client agreements ensuring contractual obligations and service level agreements are met
• Develop and implement a system (taking inputs from the Regional Head) to manage client contact information, sales activity, clients’ agreements and performance reports
• Conduct monthly reviews on the sales performance against targets (including client & product mix) as well as regular profit and loss analysis for strategic accounts;
• Monitor the sales targets and results on strategic accounts and maintain the flow of information with the Regional office; 
• Manage account investments to ensure effective allocation of business development resources within the business;

Education & Experience:

1. Possess a degree in Business disciplines or other related qualifications.
2. Work experience in the both, sales and business development function; with excellent track record in implementing successful sales and business development activities.
3. Excellent oral & written English and Japanese communication skills.
4. Demonstrate good negotiating and strong customer service skills
5. Keen to work in India, open to adapting and learning in a complex market.
