'Enormous scale' of Mediterranean migration tragedy emerges – up to 300 dead, says UN official

New York, Feb 12 (RDI IBNS) With the number of refugees and migrants confirmed missing following their attempt to cross the Mediterranean into Europe revised from a total of 29 dead to as many as 300, the United Nations refugee agency said on Wednesday that it is shocked by the new information emerging on the scale of the maritime tragedy.
